Lori Kwasnicka has a Bachelor of Science from Kent State University, and an Associate Degree from The Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences. Lori is a New York State Licensed MassageTherapist, specializing in stress and anxiety reduction, pre and post-operative treatment, support for cancer patients, and lymphedema management. Lori tailors her work to each individual’s needs. Her workplace settings have ranged from the women's locker room at the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, to the hospital surgical floor.
Lori is an accredited allied health care provider at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, offering Reiki, Massage, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage therapy treatments to patients. These therapies assist in reducing anxiety, pain, and swelling. Lori completed a 15 month internship at Beth Israel Medical Center, providing Reiki treatments for patients.
Lori's practice utilizes Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Oncology Massage, Reiki, Massage Therapy, and Scar Tissue Massage treatments. Her practice is unique because of her comprehensive knowledge and specialization in these modalities.
Lori is a member of the American Massage Therapy Association, National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork and the Society for Oncology Massage.
