Massage Therapy

original?tenant=vbu-digital

A combination of massage techniques are used, such as; Swedish, myofascial release, deep tissue, and trigger point release. These various techniques are used to improve circulation, reduce muscle spasm, break up adhesions and scar tissue, improve range of motion, and reduce pain. Each session is tailored to the individual's goals. I am also certified in prenatal massage.

I look at structural, postural and possible emotional factors that may be causing the body to be out of balance, and provide feedback so my clients become more aware of their bodies and how they can reduce and prevent pain.

I enjoy inspiring, educating and empowering my clients to take steps toward their self-care and wellness. I encourage clients to better manage their health to prevent pain and injury, as well as aiding recovery. To reinforce preventative care, I help my clients recognize poor posture habits, to break free of those habits that can cause chronic pain.

"Lori Kwasnicka is a remarkable massage therapist. As an ex-ballet dancer I have had many therapists for injuries and am familiar with different treatment techniques. Lori is very knowledgeable about anatomy and has the ability to locate painful areas and provide lasting relief. Lori takes time to discuss physical concerns and conditions and makes excellent recommendations for exercises and ways to treat conditions. I have had great success working with Lori on a long term back injury and would highly recommend her to anyone needing a massage therapist."

"I want the best possible outcome for my clients. I may use one technique to treat an issue, and another to reinforce the work and teach my client how to better manage their health with self-care."

-Lori Kwasnicka, LMT
